At the start of 2011, Ron Hruska, Michael Cantrell, James Anderson and Jen Gloystein got together and revised the PRI Treatment Guidelines for the Right BC Pattern.  This handout can be found in both the Postural Respiration and Cervical-Cranio-Mandibular Restoration course manual.  If you have been to either of these courses in the past, you will find this updated handout very helpful!

Following the three day Interdisciplinary Integration course, Ron Hruska received this email from a patient he and Dr. Heidi Wise have been working with using PRI Vision:

“After you looked at our daughter and decided she would benefit from the prescription lenses and after following up with Heidi and you in your office, we want you both to know how well she is getting along. She has had 3 track meets with her glasses and guess what?? No backaches like she was having before. The 1st meet with the glasses she won both the mile and the 2 mile. I asked her how her back felt and she said a slight ache on the right side (which if you remember it was always all across her back). But she said it was very slight. The next meet the coach wanted to try her in the 800 and she got 3rd but her races are the longer distance. She won the mile that day also. Now I have to mention no record times, but winning. Tuesday she ran the 2 mile which she got 2nd in but took 34 seconds off her fastest time this year (and competing against class B, C, and D schools). The mile she also got 2nd to the same girl but took 12 seconds off her fastest time. She was getting frustrated as she wasn’t improving her times any until the last meet. The coaches, herself and we are very excited for the rest of the season and very happy with the way she is competing. Her form is looking so good and not to have the pain after the race or have to drop out is so wonderful to us all. We wouldn’t be where we are if it wasn’t for Heidi and you. I cannot express enough how grateful we are to you two.”

James Anderson was recently featured in the local newspaper in Burley, Idaho.  After working with Jason Day, a professional golfer, the press decided to do a story on James and his “unique approach to therapy (PRI)”:

“I’m very interested in the athlete’s ability to breathe in a balanced way, with their rib cage held down on both sides to support their core,” Anderson said. “I’m looking at the ability of their thorax to expand and rotate both ways symmetrically, so that they don’t have to cheat with their back or neck to breathe or coordinate movement. I’m always analyzing which muscles are on that I need to turn off so the athlete can swing a golf club or run faster.”
