A native of Tokyo, Japan, Sayuri Abe-Hiraishi came to the U.S. to pursue her passion for sports medicine. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Exercise and Sports Science with an emphasis on Athletic Training from Texas State University-San Marcos (2007) and a Master of Science in Applied Physiology & Kinesiology from the University of Florida (2009). Certified as a Postural Restoration Trained (PRT) credentialed provider in 2014, and now recognized as a PRC credentialed provider, she has an extensive background in NCAA Division I athletic training and clinical education. She is passionate about advancing athletic training education internationally and serves as a foundational leader for PRI Japan.

At the time of PRI Credentialing, providers are required to submit verification of current licensure or certification status to determine eligibility for PRI Credentialing. It is the responsibility of credentialed providers to update the Postural Restoration Institute if their license or certification has expired, been suspended, or revoked, so that they can be removed from the PRI Find a Provider map. As Postural Restoration Institute places this responsibility on providers, it cautions consumers that they should not rely on Postural Restoration Institute’s website as evidence of a provider’s current licensure or certification status.
