Brian completed his Bachelor of Science in General Science (Pre-Physical Therapy) from Oregon State University before earning his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Eastern Washington University. Through his own experience with chronic injuries, Brian discovered Postural Restoration principles and achieved a pain-free return to activity, which shaped his clinical focus and philosophy of care.

Brian is the owner of New Ground Physical Therapy, a Certified Postural Restoration Center serving Beaverton, Camas and the greater Portland–Vancouver metro area. His practice specializes in addressing chronic pain, movement dysfunction, and complex postural patterns through a whole-body, integrative approach.

In addition to his clinical work, Brian has mentored physical therapists and students in the application of Postural Restoration and has taught PRI-based concepts to third-year Doctor of Physical Therapy students at Pacific University. He works collaboratively with dentists and neuro-optometrists to provide coordinated care, including co-treatment when appropriate, for patients with complex orthopedic and neurological presentations.

Sessions are one-on-one and fully individualized, allowing Brian to focus on each client’s specific needs, movement patterns, and goals. His approach empowers clients to move more efficiently, breathe better, and gain lasting improvements in posture, stability, and overall quality of life.

Brian is passionate about helping people who have struggled with chronic pain or movement limitations find solutions that are effective, sustainable, and holistic. Whether you are dealing with postural imbalance, breathing dysfunction, or musculoskeletal pain, Brian’s integrative PRI-based approach provides the tools, guidance, and support needed to achieve long-term results.

At the time of PRI Credentialing, providers are required to submit verification of current licensure or certification status to determine eligibility for PRI Credentialing. It is the responsibility of credentialed providers to update the Postural Restoration Institute if their license or certification has expired, been suspended, or revoked, so that they can be removed from the PRI Find a Provider map. As Postural Restoration Institute places this responsibility on providers, it cautions consumers that they should not rely on Postural Restoration Institute’s website as evidence of a provider’s current licensure or certification status. Instead, the Postural Restoration Institute recommends that patients and clients wishing to verify a provider’s current licensure or certification status contact the relevant regulatory boards or reach out directly to the provider to ask for current verification of his or her licensure or certification. The Postural Restoration Institute is not liable for and disclaims any responsibility for services performed by PRI Credentialed providers.
