Brian Coleman is a PRC-certified physical therapist and owner of New Ground Physical Therapy, a Certified Postural Restoration Center serving Camas, WA; Lake Oswego, OR; Portland, OR; and Vancouver, WA. He specializes in Postural Restoration therapy (PRI) for clients with chronic pain, postural imbalance, movement dysfunction, and breathing-related issues, helping patients restore balance, improve function, and regain confidence in daily life.

With extensive experience mentoring physical therapists and teaching PRI to third-year doctoral students at Pacific University, Brian brings both advanced expertise and practical knowledge to every session. He integrates PRI principles with movement retraining, postural assessment, and breathing optimization, providing individualized care that addresses the underlying causes of dysfunction rather than simply managing symptoms.

Brian also collaborates with neuro-optometrists and dentists to provide co-treatments, creating a truly integrative approach for clients with complex postural, cranial, and airway-related issues. By combining PRI with multi-disciplinary care, he helps clients improve muscular balance, enhance breathing mechanics, and reduce pain and tension throughout the body.

At New Ground Physical Therapy, sessions are one-on-one and fully individualized, allowing Brian to focus on each client’s specific needs, movement patterns, and goals. His approach empowers clients to move more efficiently, breathe better, and gain lasting improvements in posture, stability, and overall quality of life.

Brian is passionate about helping people who have struggled with chronic pain or movement limitations find solutions that are effective, sustainable, and holistic. Whether you are dealing with postural imbalance, breathing dysfunction, or musculoskeletal pain, Brian’s integrative PRI-based approach provides the tools, guidance, and support needed to achieve long-term results.

At the time of PRI Credentialing, providers are required to submit verification of current licensure or certification status to determine eligibility for PRI Credentialing. It is the responsibility of credentialed providers to update the Postural Restoration Institute if their license or certification has expired, been suspended, or revoked, so that they can be removed from the PRI Find a Provider map. As Postural Restoration Institute places this responsibility on providers, it cautions consumers that they should not rely on Postural Restoration Institute’s website as evidence of a provider’s current licensure or certification status. Instead, the Postural Restoration Institute recommends that patients and clients wishing to verify a provider’s current licensure or certification status contact the relevant regulatory boards or reach out directly to the provider to ask for current verification of his or her licensure or certification. The Postural Restoration Institute is not liable for and disclaims any responsibility for services performed by PRI Credentialed providers.
