Amy started GO Sports Therapy in Dallas in 2000 to provide compassionate physical therapy care. She recently returned to her hometown of Joplin, MO, to continue her practice there. Her treatment philosophy has been, and always will be, “Patient First.” She specializes in Postural Restoration Institute (PRI) methodology to offer an integrative approach that takes the whole body into account—whole-person health that treats not only the “what” but also the “why.” In addition to being Postural Restoration Certified, she uses multiple effective modalities, including Astym (a regenerative soft tissue technique highly effective with tendinitis and other chronic conditions), dry needling, breath work, and foot orthotics.

She is on faculty as a teaching assistant for functional dry needling with EIM and is a lead instructor for Astym. She is also a Breathe Your Truth certified coach.

She believes private practice physical therapy is the best value in healthcare. Her greatest blessing is being an Aunt to her amazing nieces and nephews. She enjoys cycling, yoga, pickleball, and being outdoors. She has served on the Board of Water Is Basic and travelled numerous times with them to South Sudan and Democratic Republic of Congo to help bring clean water to communities there.

At the time of PRI Credentialing, providers are required to submit verification of current licensure or certification status to determine eligibility for PRI Credentialing. It is the responsibility of credentialed providers to update the Postural Restoration Institute if their license or certification has expired, been suspended, or revoked, so that they can be removed from the PRI Find a Provider map. As Postural Restoration Institute places this responsibility on providers, it cautions consumers that they should not rely on Postural Restoration Institute’s website as evidence of a provider’s current licensure or certification status. Instead, the Postural Restoration Institute recommends that patients and clients wishing to verify a provider’s current licensure or certification status contact the relevant regulatory boards or reach out directly to the provider to ask for current verification of his or her licensure or certification. The Postural Restoration Institute is not liable for and disclaims any responsibility for services performed by PRI Credentialed providers.
