Jim received his Doctorate of Physical Therapy with distinction from Northern Arizona University in 2003. With a vision to provide excellent, compassion centered physical therapy, he founded Flagstaff Integrated Therapies. Jim cultivates his personal therapy approach pulling from a variety of sources building on his traditional Western foundation. He selectively uses Dry Needling in addition to other manual techniques to address trigger points that cause muscle pain and joint dysfunction. Using the science of the Postural Restoration Institute, he thinks outside the box to address the root cause of dysfunction and pain, therefore optimizing performance. The ultimate goal is empowering the patient with improved mind-body connections to allow easeful effort.

History of Passion

The Postural Restoration Institute (PRI) is built around 30 years of clinical practice associated with recurring successes of specific patient treatment programs. We established reproducible, outcome-based programs based on consistent evidence-based correlations, discovered with patient biomechanical, respiratory, and neurological functional patterns and limitations. My passion for the integrated systems of the body has resulted in an examination and intervention process of the asymmetrical human body called Postural Restoration.
