Brian grew up in Kent, Ohio and attended Ohio University for his bachelor’s degree in biology and pre-physical therapy. He then attended Slippery Rock University in Pennsylvania, where he graduated with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy. Brian and his wife, Tracy, who is also a physical therapist, moved to Estes Park, Colorado to care for the local community. They took full advantage of the outdoor activities offered in Rocky Mountain National Park and its surrounding areas.

In 2008, Brian and his business partner and friend, Andy, opened up a small outpatient clinic in Fort Collins, Colorado. He was lucky enough to find extremely talented physical therapists who helped him grow his business, ProActive Physical Therapy and Exercise Center. This integrated PRI Center focuses on finding the cause of patients’ symptoms so they can return to their desired level of activity and prevent future complications. The center works with local dieticians, massage therapists, exercise physiologists, and optometrists to help clients as a whole.

When not in the clinic, Brian enjoys spending time with his wife and children, hiking, camping, and fishing.

History of Passion

The Postural Restoration Institute (PRI) is built around 30 years of clinical practice associated with recurring successes of specific patient treatment programs. We established reproducible, outcome-based programs based on consistent evidence-based correlations, discovered with patient biomechanical, respiratory, and neurological functional patterns and limitations. My passion for the integrated systems of the body has resulted in an examination and intervention process of the asymmetrical human body called Postural Restoration.
