Tim is presently Athletic Fitness Director of the Riekes Center in Menlo Park California. In addition to developing the Riekes Center AF staff, he is responsible for overseeing the speed development, high school and college strength and conditioning programs, adult fitness, and United States Olympic Committee Paralympic Sport Club. He is one of the few trainers on the West Coast that has earned credentialing from both the Postural Restoration Institute (PRI) in Lincoln, Nebraska and the world renowned Prague (Czech Republic) Institute of Rehabilitation, where Tim obtained his Dynamic Nueromuscular Stabilization (DNS) certificate. Tim uses PRI techniques extensively in his work with local high school, college, professional and Olympic level athletes, as well as with referrals from local hospitals and adults seeking relief from chronic pain. With his background in social work, Tim has the unique ability to engage with clients to provide the best results possible.
Tim’s’ training expertise is sought outside of the Riekes Center, both in English and Spanish. He has been the featured trainer for the training tip of the week on the Cal High Sports Bay Area television show the past several years; presented at the US Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs in 2012 and 2013; was filmed for a Spanish language speed training video series; and he has been a regular contributor for the Spanish language coaching website “Coaches Digitales” that is used for coaches education throughout Mexico, Panama, Argentina, and Colombia. Tim returns to Mexico several times a year to train high school, college and professional teams, and conduct clinics for university physical therapy and athletic departments as well as private organizations.
Tim is in the unique position of having been a coach and athlete at the high school, college, and master’s level, and also as a parent. His oldest daughter, Rosario was a high school swimmer and cross country runner, and his youngest daughter, Becky is active in the youth sports scene.

Certificates and Credentials:
The Postural Restoration Institute (PRI) is built around 30 years of clinical practice associated with recurring successes of specific patient treatment programs. We established reproducible, outcome-based programs based on consistent evidence-based correlations, discovered with patient biomechanical, respiratory, and neurological functional patterns and limitations. My passion for the integrated systems of the body has resulted in an examination and intervention process of the asymmetrical human body called Postural Restoration.
