Lori Brinkman is a Certified Athletic Trainer, Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, Postural Restoration Certified, a licensed physical therapy assistant and a USA Rugby Level II certified coach. She has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Missouri in food and human nutrition. Lori’s emphasis is in sports injuries, repetitive use injuries, injury prevention and rehabilitation. This focus has driven her to learn a broad range of treatment approaches in order to best suit the needs of the individual patient. She now practices a myokinematic strategy, emphasizing the techniques of Postural Restoration in which she is certified.

History of Passion

The Postural Restoration Institute (PRI) is built around 30 years of clinical practice associated with recurring successes of specific patient treatment programs. We established reproducible, outcome-based programs based on consistent evidence-based correlations, discovered with patient biomechanical, respiratory, and neurological functional patterns and limitations. My passion for the integrated systems of the body has resulted in an examination and intervention process of the asymmetrical human body called Postural Restoration.
