Jen received her doctorate degree in physical therapy at Rockhurst University in Kansas City, Missouri. During this time, she also had the opportunity to serve as a graduate assistant athletic trainer with the Rockhurst athletic teams. She received her undergraduate degree in athletic training from Nebraska Wesleyan University, where she also participated in golf. Following graduation from PT school, she began her career as a staff physical therapist at the Hruska Clinic. In 2010, Jen began working part-time at the Postural Restoration Institute focusing on clinical support and development. In 2011, Jen earned the designation of Postural Restoration Certified (PRC) as a result of advanced training and extraordinary interest to the science of postural adaptations, asymmetrical patterns and the influence of polyarticular chains of muscles on the body as defined by the Postural Restoration Institute®. In April of 2012, she started a full-time position as Director of Education and Credentialing at the Postural Restoration Institute. Jen lives in Lincoln with her husband Adam, and daughter Maya.
The Postural Restoration Institute (PRI) is built around 30 years of clinical practice associated with recurring successes of specific patient treatment programs. We established reproducible, outcome-based programs based on consistent evidence-based correlations, discovered with patient biomechanical, respiratory, and neurological functional patterns and limitations. My passion for the integrated systems of the body has resulted in an examination and intervention process of the asymmetrical human body called Postural Restoration.
