Carrie Langer, MPT, ATC, PRC

Carrie LangerCarrie graduated from South Dakota State University in 1993 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Athletic Training. In 1999, she received her Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy from St. Ambrose University. Carrie is a certified athletic trainer as well as a practicing physical therapist. She has worked in the setting of outpatient orthopedics since 1993 and covers local high school athletic events. For the last 3 years she has been developing her skills in Postural Restoration and has experienced its success. The growth of her reputation has led to consultations and referrals for this specialty from therapists and physicians from a large geographic area. Carrie participates in the Physician Residency Program for the University of Minnesota, which involves weekly observation. Carrie has earned the designation of Postural Restoration Certified (PRC) as a result of advanced training, extraordinary interest & devotion to the science of postural adaptations, asymmetrical patterns & the influence of polyarticular chains of muscles on the human body as defined by the Postural Restoration Institute™.

History of Passion

The Postural Restoration Institute (PRI) is built around 30 years of clinical practice associated with recurring successes of specific patient treatment programs. We established reproducible, outcome-based programs based on consistent evidence-based correlations, discovered with patient biomechanical, respiratory, and neurological functional patterns and limitations. My passion for the integrated systems of the body has resulted in an examination and intervention process of the asymmetrical human body called Postural Restoration.
