Danielle Cardinale is a physical therapist living in Louisville, KY.  She practices out of her office located in Middletown on Evergreen Road.  She is also available for virtual televists.

Danielle obtained the Postural Restoration Certified (PRC) credential in 2020 after years of studying and practicing in out-patient settings.  She opened her own practice that supports a one-on-one treatment environment in 2019.  Prior to opening her own clinic, Danielle worked for a local hospital system, and was the single-provider in a sports performance facility.  She regularly works with school-aged and adult athletes, as well as individuals suffering from chronic pain, and those looking to perform daily activities more efficiently and without pain.  She is also certified in Integrative Dry Needling (CIDN).

Danielle Cardinale earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) in 2013 from Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, CT.  Prior to this she earned a B.S. in Business Administration with a Concentration in Marketing from Marist College in 2006.  Her linked passions for helping others live a better life, and focus on health and fitness led her on the path to physical therapy.

Danielle has always believed it is crucial to treat individuals as a whole, and not as separate parts.  She is zealous in regards to the teachings, principles and techniques of the Postural Restoration Institute.  Since the principles address the individual as a whole, respecting all systems and including the brain, her excitement for treating individuals with symptoms affecting more than one area has only grown.  She utilizes objective assessments and techniques in all of her treatment sessions.

With her drive to stay active and healthy, Danielle is always running and climbing with her son in community parks, and independently participates in running, weight lifting, and yoga.  In the past she has competed and placed in 3 Figure competitions and 2 Best Body Competitions.  She played 8-man and Flanker on her Club Rugby Team at Marist College.  She also has an extensive background in martial arts, practicing and assisting in the operation of her father’s martial art school (Easton, PA) from her childhood and through her high school years.

History of Passion

The Postural Restoration Institute (PRI) is built around 30 years of clinical practice associated with recurring successes of specific patient treatment programs. We established reproducible, outcome-based programs based on consistent evidence-based correlations, discovered with patient biomechanical, respiratory, and neurological functional patterns and limitations. My passion for the integrated systems of the body has resulted in an examination and intervention process of the asymmetrical human body called Postural Restoration.
