“Hands down the most profound and career changing course I have ever attended” – Ali Asadi, NASM CPT, FMS Specialist, TRX Suspension Training, HKC-Russian Kettlebell Instructor, PTA Global CPT, I.F.P.A. CPT, I.F.P.A. Speed and Power Specialist
PRI Integration for Fitness and Movement was presented this past weekend outside of Columbus Ohio at Good Bodies Personal Fitness and Wellness in Dublin. It was powerful to have a smaller group and for all to be reminded of how quickly results can be seen. We discussed key strategies to organize core performance, improve thoracic mobility and assure the abdominals are coordinated to support both the breath and trunk stability. With applying simple cues to empower the breathing system, reposition the diaphragm and thorax, and coach external cues to sense position and the ground, this group saw some powerful results in just 24 hours.
This course had more personal trainers and strength coaches than physical therapists and medical professionals. The group was open to paradigm shifts and exploration to learn some powerful practical principles they can use with their clients and athletes. It was fun to not talk pathology, focus on coaching position, keep it simple and get people moving in new ways. We tried out some new labs and am happy it all turned out successful!
Thank you so much to the Good Bodies team for their fabulous hospitality and openness to explore this science together. I loved their model of teamwork and positive culture and I’m grateful for the opportunity to meet this professional group. Jack, Cheryl, JR, Heidi, Greg, Lisa, Toni and Kris - Thank you all and I hope our paths cross again in the future!
One last course on the schedule for this year: September 28-29, James and I will both be presenting in Fort Collins, Colorado and this class has officially SOLD OUT!
