Ben was raised in Norfolk, NE and graduated from Norfolk Catholic High School in 2001. After earning a Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy from Creighton University in 2007, he joined the Makovika/Sylliaasen Physical Therapy group. During his three years there, he helped establish clinics in Yutan and Waverly.  He also attained certification to specialize in Physical Therapy for dancers and performers from Westside Dance Physical Therapy in New York.

He joined Taylor Creek Physical therapy in Norfolk, NE in 2010 where his physical therapy focus has further developed into a practice of postural restoration.  His first exposure to PRI therapy was with his mom as she sought treatment for TMJ symptoms that had not been resolved from traditional therapy.  The Hruska team worked with her pelvic positon at that time to help correct a compensatory pattern that was contributing to her TMJ symptoms.  Since that time Ben’s interest level in PRI grew as he took more continuing education courses and began seeing improved results with quicker recovery as he worked with patients in the clinic.  Taylor Creek provided a great atmosphere for growth as a clinician and gave Ben the opportunity to earn his PRC certification through the postural restoration institute in 2013.  Together with Kristi Jagels, Ben is able to provide cutting edge PRI therapeutic treatment to patients of all activity levels.

History of Passion

The Postural Restoration Institute (PRI) is built around 30 years of clinical practice associated with recurring successes of specific patient treatment programs. We established reproducible, outcome-based programs based on consistent evidence-based correlations, discovered with patient biomechanical, respiratory, and neurological functional patterns and limitations. My passion for the integrated systems of the body has resulted in an examination and intervention process of the asymmetrical human body called Postural Restoration.
